Migration Agency: Do not be deceived by fake charities!

Cases of collecting money through various plastic card numbers on social networks to bring the bodies of deceased Uzbeks from abroad to the Homeland are increasing. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In this regard, the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued a statement warning citizens. According to the agency, some individuals misuse people's emotions by using outdated or incorrect information.
Such frauds not only cause financial damage but also lead to distrust and confusion in society. The Migration Agency advised citizens not to believe false messages circulating on social networks and under no circumstances to transfer money to unknown sources.
At the same time, it emphasized that legal and reliable methods can only be carried out through official state bodies. If a citizen of Uzbekistan dies abroad, bringing their body to the Homeland is carried out at the expense of the Migration Fund.
For this, the deceased's relatives or representatives must directly contact the Migration Agency. This process is organized entirely in an official manner.
The agency called on citizens not to be deceived by fake charity announcements and to trust only official sources. This warning is aimed at preventing fraud and increasing the legal awareness of the population.
