President reviewed the development of the defense industry at the technopark

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the technopark in the city of Chirchiq and familiarized himself with the activities of defense industry enterprises. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The head of state was informed about the production processes of armored vehicles and remotely controlled combat modules, according to podrobno.uz. The new combat modules are capable of detecting and destroying both moving and stationary targets even under poor visibility conditions.

They are equipped with modern technologies, including automated control, stabilization, optical surveillance, and targeting systems. Technopark specialists carry out the full production cycle.

This process starts with assembling components, followed by software configuration, weapon integration, and finally testing at the proving ground. The finished modules are installed on light armored vehicles, special-purpose cars, boats, and armored personnel carriers.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with local and foreign partners. It was emphasized that this will contribute to increasing production volume, creating new jobs, and strengthening the national technological base.

The President gave clear instructions to officials to control product quality, expand localization, and develop engineering potential.
