Cold is expected to intensify in Uzbekistan in January

Cold air masses are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The O‘zgidromet service has issued a warning about this. According to experts, on January 16-17, air temperatures will sharply drop in almost all regions of the country.
During the daytime, temperatures are forecasted to decrease significantly, while cold will intensify at night and in the morning. Additionally, precipitation is likely under the influence of this cold anticyclone.
In some areas, short-term rain or snow may occur. As a result of precipitation and wind, dust and other fine particles in the atmosphere will be washed away, and air quality is expected to improve slightly.
The O‘zgidromet service urges citizens to be cautious and take weather conditions into account. Especially on cold days, it is important to dress warmly and follow safety rules.
