Donald Trump established an alternative organization to the UN
US President Donald Trump signed the Peace Council charter. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This new international organization was created as an alternative to the UN. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Representatives from Middle Eastern and South American countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Argentina, and Paraguay, participated in the event. Additionally, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also took part.

During the ceremony, about 20 country representatives stood on stage alongside Trump. However, none of the US's traditional allies in Western Europe attended the event, CNN reported.

In his speech, Trump emphasized that the Peace Council would cooperate with other international organizations, including the UN. After the speech, White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt announced that the council had officially begun operating as an international organization.

Following this, heads of state came forward one by one to sign the document next to Trump. The Peace Council was created in accordance with Trump's peace plan and was initially planned to function as a governing body for the Gaza Strip.

However, according to the council's charter, it has broader powers and essentially operates as an alternative organization to the UN. Trump himself chairs the council.

Member states are required to allocate one billion dollars in funding. Nearly 60 countries, including Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, have been invited to join the organization.

Alexander Lukashenko was the first in Europe to sign this document. However, some European countries are refusing to join the council.

This is partly due to Russia also being invited. Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed receiving the invitation and stated that Russia is ready to allocate one billion dollars to the Peace Council from assets frozen in the US.
