Uzbekistan is becoming a medical tourism center

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, in 2025, 86,199 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for medical treatment. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This figure indicates the growing demand for medical services in the region. At the same time, Uzbekistan's attractiveness in the field of medical tourism is also increasing.
According to analyses, the largest share of patients coming to Uzbekistan are citizens of Tajikistan. Their number amounts to 59,145.
Next in line are citizens of Kyrgyzstan (15,631) and Kazakhstan (8,224). Additionally, 1,899 citizens from Russia, 914 from Afghanistan, and 224 from Turkmenistan came to Uzbekistan for treatment.
Patients from distant countries have also been observed. For example, 47 from Turkey, 16 from the USA, 15 from China, and 11 from Azerbaijan came for treatment.
Furthermore, a total of 73 citizens from other countries have used medical services in Uzbekistan. These figures indicate positive changes on the path to Uzbekistan becoming a regional center in the healthcare sector.
