Tourism of Uzbekistan promoted in Singapore

The next event aimed at promoting Uzbekistan's tourism potential was held in Singapore – a roadshow. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Within the framework of the roadshow, 30 representatives from Uzbekistan's tourism and service sectors held meetings with more than 70 tourism and service companies in Singapore. During the meetings, participants were provided with detailed information about Uzbekistan's cultural and historical heritage, pilgrimage tourism, gastronomic, ecological, and mountain tourism opportunities.
In particular, the "Umra Plus" project, aimed at creating favorable conditions for foreign tourists, was specially highlighted. Representatives of Uzbekistan shared information about measures being implemented to ensure travelers' safety, develop tourism infrastructure, introduce digital services, and adapt service quality to international standards.
According to experts, the "Umra Plus" project is an important factor in increasing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan's tourism sector. During the event, modern conditions and new tourist routes created within the framework of the mountain tourism development program were also presented.
The meetings discussed expanding cooperation, developing new joint tourist packages, and attracting investments to the sector. This roadshow was an important step in strengthening Uzbekistan's position in the international tourism market, developing tourism relations with Singapore, and opening new investment opportunities.
