Strong winds are expected in Uzbekistan, be alert!

The Hydrometeorology Service Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzhydromet) issued an urgent warning for February 2. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the report, an increase in wind strength is expected in some regions of the country. Specifically, in certain areas of Bukhara, Navoi, Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Kashkadarya regions, wind speeds may reach 13–18 meters per second.
In Tashkent city, wind speeds are expected to be around 12–15 meters per second. Experts recommend taking safety measures due to the strong wind.
In particular, it is necessary to securely fasten light objects outdoors, such as advertising banners, construction materials, bicycles, and scooters. Also, caution should be exercised near tall trees and power lines.
According to Uzhydromet's warning, due to the risk of strong winds, citizens should pay attention to their safety and take necessary precautions. Carelessness on such days can lead to unfortunate incidents.
