An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 was recorded in Jizzakh

Today, on February 3rd at 15:38, tremors were observed in several regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Seismoprognostic Monitoring Center provided information about this. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.7, with a depth of 10 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Baxmal district of Jizzakh region. This area is situated 230 kilometers southwest of Tashkent city.
The earthquake was also felt in some districts of Samarkand and Jizzakh regions. The epicenter coordinates were recorded at 39.62 degrees north latitude and 67.56 degrees east longitude.
In some districts, the intensity of the earthquake was as follows: 2–3 points in Bulungur and Baxmal districts, and 2 points in Toyloq, Urgut, Jomboy, and Gallaorol districts. It was noted that the earthquake was not strong, but it is necessary to remember safety precautions in such situations.
Specifically, it is recommended not to use elevators, avoid standing near heavy objects, and move to a safe place.
