In 2025, the cost of medical services increased significantly

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, there was a significant increase in the prices of medical services in the country in 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In some sectors, the price increase exceeded the 10 percent "psychological threshold," directly affecting the daily expenses of the population. According to the data announced at the end of the year, prices rose in almost all major types of medical services.
For example, dental services increased by an average of 5.1 percent, medical laboratory services by 10.3 percent, outpatient treatment services by 9.4 percent, diagnostic services (such as ultrasound, MRI, CT) by 9.1 percent, and inpatient treatment and rehabilitation services by 7.5 percent. The largest increase was observed in laboratory services.
This means that the prices of various analyses, tests, and examinations increased the most throughout the year. Additionally, the significant rise in prices for outpatient treatment and diagnostic services indicates that the main services the population frequently uses have become more expensive.
Experts emphasize that several factors contributed to the increase in medical service prices. These include inflation processes, rising costs of service provision, increased prices of consumables, the use of modern equipment, and the expenses related to maintaining such equipment, all putting pressure on prices.
Overall, 2025 demonstrated instability in medical service prices. Now, the population naturally wonders whether this growth will continue in 2026 or if the situation will stabilize.
