Part of the construction market in Uchtepa closed

A part of the "Stroy gorod" construction market located in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city has been temporarily closed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Official information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the official data, on February 9, 2026, the Tashkent City Main Department of Emergency Situations conducted an inspection of the trade buildings and rooms in the market area regarding fire safety.

The inspection revealed gross violations of fire safety rules in two blocks of the market. Until these deficiencies are fully eliminated, a temporary restriction on activities in this area has been imposed.

According to officials, once all safety requirements are met, the closed market block will resume its operations. The Main Department of Emergency Situations once again emphasized the necessity of strict compliance with fire safety regulations.
