Uzbek scientists created an environmentally friendly biofilm

Uzbek scientists have succeeded in inventing an eco-friendly and environmentally harmless bioplastic film. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences announced this. The new discovery allows replacing plastic bags with an effective and environmentally safe alternative.
This bioplastic film easily decomposes in water and soil environments and causes no harm to nature. Although its appearance and strength resemble ordinary synthetic polyethylene, it is significantly superior in terms of environmental safety.
Additionally, the bioplastic film can be widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Its mechanical properties are close to those of ordinary polyethylene films, but its main advantage is that it causes absolutely no harm to the environment.
According to the Academy of Sciences, this bioplastic film serves as an important step in reducing plastic waste and solving environmental problems. The new technology contributes to the development of a green economy and can be an effective solution for environmental protection and alleviating the plastic waste issue.
The scientists emphasize that by producing this product, a safe and eco-friendly product for the population and industry has been achieved. This innovation opens new opportunities not only for ecology but also for the economy.
Such research is of urgent importance in reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment. Source: One.uz.
