Innovative ideas competition will start in 2026
Starting from 2026, a new project aimed at identifying and developing innovative ideas will be launched in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Every year, a national competition for the "Most Innovative Idea" is planned to be held. In this competition, ideas that have a high potential to enter the market, are well-developed, and have practical solutions will be selected.

The competition will be held at state higher education institutions, and winners will be awarded grants amounting to 100 million soms. The competition is planned to be organized in 10 directions, creating separate opportunities and competitive fields for each sector.

Additionally, the total prize fund of the competition amounts to 10 billion soms, which will be provided from the Fund for Financing Science and Supporting Innovations. Furthermore, starting from September 1, 2026, the "Universities – Startup Generators" program will be gradually introduced in higher education institutions.

Within this program, student accelerators will be established at universities in cooperation with IT parks and venture funds. International experience exchange and internship programs for students are also planned to be implemented.

This will enable local ideas to develop on a global scale. One of the most important aspects is that higher education institutions will be granted the right to invest up to 20 thousand US dollars in promising startup projects.

This will turn universities not only into educational centers but also into investment platforms. Additionally, positions such as "startup manager" and "startup tracker" will be introduced in accelerators, responsible for monitoring and developing ideas.

In conclusion, 2026 is expected to be an important period for the development of startups. This is a great opportunity for young people with new ideas.

Although competition will be strong, well-prepared and innovative ideas will definitely find their way. It is time for the youth of Uzbekistan to take advantage of this opportunity.
