Loans for local cars will become cheaper
On February 13, at a meeting led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, important issues aimed at ensuring economic growth and supporting consumer demand were discussed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that in order to increase demand for local cars, it is necessary to reduce auto loan interest rates and expand the volume of credit allocation. Currently, four large enterprises operate in the country with an annual production capacity of 650,000 cars.

At the same time, to further localize production, it is planned this year to produce an additional 763 types of spare parts in cooperation with more than 300 enterprises. This will contribute to the development of local industry and the reduction of car prices.

The meeting also set the task of increasing the number of cars produced to 510,000 units. This will help maintain the balance between market demand and supply, and reduce queues and waiting times.

Special attention was also paid to the effective operation of the agro-technical cluster in Chirchiq. It was noted that if the cluster operates at full capacity and favorable financial conditions are created through leasing services, farmers and peasants could purchase at least 15,000 units of equipment annually.

At the end of the meeting, officials of the automotive industry were instructed to revise the production program in accordance with a 10.5 percent growth and to make effective use of existing opportunities. These measures are aimed at developing the local car market and meeting the needs of the population.
