Startup championship for youth will begin from 2026

Starting from 2026, the “Young Entrepreneurs” championship will be organized annually to identify the best business and startup ideas among youth. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main goal of this project is to implement young people's innovative ideas into practice, providing them with financial support, expertise, and government assistance. According to the championship results, the winning projects will not be limited to just receiving a diploma.
Investments will be allocated for them, expenses for promoting products as brands in the market will be covered by specialists, and there will even be opportunities to recommend them for state awards. This will be an important incentive for developing young entrepreneurs' ideas.
One of the main advantages of the project is that up to 100 business and startup projects will be selected within the championship framework and will receive investments of up to 1 billion soms. These funds will be provided by the State Target Fund for Youth Entrepreneurship Development and the Youth Ventures venture fund.
This will solve the problem of “having an idea but no financial resources.” Additionally, expenses for marketing, sales channels, and product positioning in the market to turn startups into brands will also be covered.
These expenses can be up to 100 times the minimum wage. Furthermore, special privileges are planned for technological startups.
For example, the minimum export requirements will be waived when obtaining IT-park resident status. Starting from 2026, the “Startup Expo” exhibition will also be held annually.
This exhibition will provide startups with the opportunity to present their projects to investors, clients, and partners. In conclusion, from 2026, creating startups for youth is turning from a dream into a real opportunity.
For this, it is necessary to start planning ideas clearly, develop ways to solve problems, and prepare a plan to implement the project into practice. Source: one.uz.
