Inheritance land and property registration will be simplified

In recent years, extensive changes have been made in the construction and cadastral sectors. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Nevertheless, many citizens' real estate properties are still not fully registered. Especially in inheritance matters, difficulties related to documents arise.
For this reason, a new draft law has been developed to create convenience for citizens. One of the important changes in the draft is that land plots belonging to the deceased but not registered with the state can now also be included in the inheritance.
Previously, such cases often led to numerous court proceedings. According to the new procedure, heirs can register their rights to the land plot in their name based on a notarized certificate.
This helps to eliminate unnecessary hassles. Additionally, important amendments are being made to the law "On State Registration of Rights to Real Estate."
Completed buildings can be registered in the name of the deceased, after which the property easily passes to the heirs. This procedure is also planned to be introduced for construction objects that are not yet completed.
The draft law proposes strict registration of information about owners of privatized land plots in the state registry. This will strengthen the protection of landowners' rights and further increase transparency in the real estate market.
These reforms aim to solve problems accumulated over years, guarantee citizens' property rights, and reduce corruption and bureaucracy in inheritance registration. These changes are especially aimed at simplifying legal procedures for citizens.
