The number of visa-free countries for citizens of Uzbekistan increases

The number of countries offering visa-free entry to citizens of Uzbekistan is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This goal is outlined in the new edition of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy approved on February 16, 2026. According to the plan, currently, citizens of Uzbekistan can travel visa-free to 34 countries.
By 2026, this figure is planned to reach 36, 38 in 2027, 42 in 2028, 46 in 2029, and 50 by 2030. Additionally, a simplified visa regime currently applies to 42 countries.
By 2030, the number of such countries is expected to reach 60. To facilitate this process, a special mobile platform for consular services is planned to be developed.
It is anticipated that the number of users of this platform will increase up to 60 thousand. It is worth noting that in 2025, visa-free regimes were introduced for citizens of Uzbekistan traveling to China and Jordan.
Such initiatives serve to strengthen the country's international relations and create favorable conditions for citizens. Source: Zamin.uz.
