Thursday has been officially declared as "Youth Day" in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This initiative is being implemented to support young people and address their problems. On this day, ministries, agencies, and local authorities across the country engage in activities aimed at direct communication with youth, listening to their opinions, and solving their issues.
On Thursdays, sector leaders visit neighborhoods, schools, and technical colleges to organize meetings with young people. They provide opportunities for youth to express their views and also assist them in matters such as education, sports, vocational training, and employment.
Encouraging youth entrepreneurship and supporting their learning of foreign languages are also among the main directions of this day. Additionally, special grants and financial assistance are allocated for young entrepreneurs and boys and girls involved in startup projects.
Moreover, various competitions, exhibitions, and fairs are organized within the framework of "Youth Day." Through these events, the best gardeners, farmers, industrialists, creatives, and young people active in other fields are encouraged.
This day plays an important role in developing the creative and labor potential of youth, discovering new talents, and providing them with opportunities. At the same time, this initiative serves to strengthen the younger generation's confidence in the future.
