Gas prices increased in Uzbekistan: new tariffs introduced

Today, new tariffs for natural gas came into effect in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The weather is still cold, many households have turned on heating, so payments for gas may increase significantly. According to the new tariffs, the price per cubic meter for gas consumption up to 100 cubic meters is set at 1000 soums.

Previously, this amount was 500 cubic meters. If consumption exceeds 100 cubic meters, the price per cubic meter of gas will be 1800 soums.

There is also a warning that payments can become much more expensive if gas consumption exceeds the social norm. These changes are expected to encourage the population to plan their gas consumption more wisely.
