48 Uzbek citizens remained at Doha airport due to the closure of Qatar airspace

Due to the temporary closure of Qatar airspace, 48 Uzbek citizens who were supposed to return to Tashkent remained at Doha airport. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the embassy in Doha took control of the situation and took prompt measures. Since some airlines were unable to immediately accommodate passengers in hotels, embassy staff held negotiations and managed to arrange temporary accommodation for the citizens in hotels.
Once Qatar airspace reopens and flights resume, the Uzbek citizens will safely return to their homeland. The embassy is keeping the situation under constant control.
It was reported that among nearly 600 Uzbek citizens staying in Qatar, there are no casualties. Uzbek citizens were urged not to panic, to rely only on official information, and to follow safety rules.
