New rules have been introduced to strengthen public order in legislation

The draft law "On Amendments and Additions to the Administrative Liability Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan," introduced on the basis of a legislative initiative by deputies in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, was discussed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main purpose of the draft law is to strengthen public order and tranquility, prevent new types of offenses, and clearly define mechanisms of liability for offenses. According to the draft, administrative liability is introduced for distributing, advertising, and demonstrating materials that promote participation in armed conflicts or military actions on the territory of another state or on its side.
Additionally, liability is envisaged for using obscene language, insulting actions, or other behaviors that offend the honor and dignity of citizens through telecommunications networks and the global Internet information space. This aims to increase legal culture in the information space and ensure the tranquility of citizens.
Furthermore, administrative liability is also provided for distributing materials that promote offenses committed by the person themselves through mass media and Internet networks. These provisions serve to reduce the popularization of offenses and imitation of them, and strengthen the environment of order and tranquility in society.
Thus, the draft law makes a significant contribution to the stability of society and the enhancement of citizens' legal culture.
