Navruz holiday will be widely celebrated in Tashkent

The Tashkent city administration announced that large-scale public events will be held in various districts of the capital in connection with the Navruz holiday in 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The holiday program will be organized not only in the city center but also in other districts of the city. The main holiday venues are as follows: on March 21-22, the “Uzbekistan Voice” tourism street and Taras Shevchenko gastronomic street; on March 21-23, the “Navruz” ethno park; and on March 21, the Al-Khwarizmi tourism street will be active.
In addition, holiday events will also take place in the following areas: Yunusabad district, in front of Yunusabad Gallery complex; Bektemir district, “Coca Cola” park; Mirzo Ulugbek district, “Central Park”; Sergeli district, central boulevard; Olmazor district, Student town near Beruniy metro station; Shaykhontohur district, “Anhor Lokomotiv” and “Tashkent City” parks; Uchtepa district, “Seoul” eco-park; Chilanzar district, G‘ofur G‘ulom park; Yakkasaray district, “Next” shopping complex; Yashnobod district, “Ashkhabad promenade” park as well as Yangihayot district, “Mehrigiyo” square. The holiday program will feature a wide display of national dishes and spring delicacies.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with and taste the preparation processes of sumalak, halim, samsa, and traditional pilaf. Also, concert programs featuring famous artists, handicraft and applied art exhibitions will be organized.
National games, folk performances, and interesting competitions will also be held. Navruz events create a festive mood for city residents and guests, clearly expressing our ancient traditions and culture.
This holiday is one of the unique and meaningful ways to celebrate the arrival of spring in our capital. We invite all citizens to actively participate in these holiday events.
