Uzbekistan provided assistance to Afghanistan on the occasion of Ramadan Eid

Today, on March 18, humanitarian aid was provided to the brotherly people of Afghanistan on behalf of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This aid was carried out on the occasion of Ramadan Eid and aimed at strengthening the close neighborly and friendly relations between the two countries. The total weight of the cargo exceeded 290 tons and included flour, rice, wheat, vegetable oil, instant food products, pasta, sugar, and other food items.
This humanitarian cargo was officially handed over in the city of Hairatan. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of Balkh Province, Mawlawi Abu Idris, heads of the Balkh Province division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives of the Hairatan city administration.
They expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, for his constant support of the Afghan people. Also, Uzbekistan's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Afghanistan, Oybek Usmanov, and the Governor of Surkhandarya Province, Ulugbek Qosimov, actively participated in the event.
This humanitarian aid serves to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.
