President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the ideals of peace, friendship, and cooperation embodied by the Navruz holiday are gaining even greater significance today amid growing instability worldwide. Zamin.uz reported on this.
Addressing the holiday celebrations, the Head of State described Navruz as a strong spiritual bridge between peoples and cultures over the centuries. According to him, this ancient tradition is a great holiday that brings generations closer together and unites them around common human values.
The leader of Uzbekistan placed special emphasis on the power of the spring spirit to inspire kindness, tolerance, and mutual respect. Currently, representatives of more than 130 nationalities living in our country celebrate Navruz as one large family, filled with joy and happiness.
This situation is the brightest manifestation of the spirit of harmony and social cohesion prevailing throughout the country. The President considers such unity to be the most reliable foundation for jointly building New Uzbekistan.
In the coming years, all opportunities will be mobilized to further strengthen interethnic and interfaith harmony. At the same time, great attention will be paid to cooperation with neighboring and fraternal states with the aim of turning Central Asia into a region of peace and partnership.
The unifying spirit of Navruz is important not only for Uzbekistan but also for the entire region and the international community. During the ceremony, the President sincerely congratulated foreign ambassadors and representatives of international organizations, sending them his best wishes to friendly peoples.
