President Mirziyoyev Conducted the First Test of a Modern High-Speed Train

On March 18, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with representatives of the public, traveled from Samarkand to Narpay district. Zamin.uz reported on this.
They embarked on a journey aboard the modern high-speed train brought to our country for the first time. As part of this major project, a Hyundai Rotem brand train produced through cooperation between China and South Korea underwent its first test run.
Our President personally examined the features of this new mode of transport and checked its operational capabilities. The introduction of the new system is aimed at further developing our country's railway infrastructure and creating convenience for our people.
The operation of high-speed trains on this route will make a significant contribution to shortening the distance between Tashkent and Khiva. While traveling on this route currently takes a lot of time, in the future this duration will be significantly reduced.
Passengers will have the opportunity to quickly reach long distances in modern, safe, and comfortable conditions. The interior of the train also features a completely new design, with all modern amenities installed to ensure passenger comfort.
This initiative by the President of Uzbekistan demonstrates the successful continuation of reforms in the transport sector of our country. It is expected that the number of such trains will increase in the future and they will be launched to other regions of the country.
This will become an important factor in developing domestic tourism and strengthening international relations. High-speed trains play a decisive role in facilitating the daily lives of our people and saving time.
