Amir Temur Avenue will be closed for extensive landscaping soon.

Amir Temur Boulevard, located in the central part of our city of Tashkent and enjoying great public attention, will be temporarily closed in the near future for large-scale landscaping works. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
This process is scheduled to begin on March 23, 2026, and continue until April 7. During this period, pedestrian movement along the entire perimeter of the boulevard will be temporarily restricted.
Additionally, certain restrictions will also be implemented on the exit routes of metro stations leading to the boulevard; therefore, passengers are advised to exercise caution when crossing. As part of this project being implemented in the Yunusobod district, pedestrian walkway surfaces will be fully repaired and replaced with new materials where necessary.
Engineering communications and the water supply system will be modernized to meet contemporary standards. Special attention will be paid to landscaping works, with new saplings planted in the area and green zones expanded.
Existing trees will not be damaged; they will be preserved and supplemented with new vegetation. According to the City Hall, vehicular traffic on adjacent streets surrounding the boulevard will continue as usual, and parking opportunities along the road will also remain available.
The main objective is to preserve the historical infrastructure in the city center while renewing it with a modern and well-maintained appearance. Therefore, citizens traveling to the Amir Temur Boulevard area between March 23 and April 7 are advised to exercise caution when using the metro route and to familiarize themselves in advance with additional exit routes.
