Vehicle traffic has officially resumed at the border between Sirdaryo and Kazakhstan.

A new era has begun at the border checkpoints in Syr Darya region, which serve as a vital road connecting Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Zamin.uz reported on this.
Following the completion of construction works at the Atameken border post on the Kazakh side, passenger vehicle traffic and the process of citizens crossing have been officially resumed through the Syr Darya border customs post located in the Syr Darya region. This news signifies a major relief for thousands of travelers and trade representatives crossing the border.
Now, the procedures for crossing the border have been significantly simplified and adapted to modern standards. Thanks to the conveniences created for citizens, the previously long waiting times are a thing of the past.
Due to the opportunities created for rapid movement, people can now reach their destinations faster. This contributes greatly to further strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two neighboring states.
According to information announced by customs officials, strict adherence to established rules and regulations is required during the movement process at the border post. Every citizen must have their documents ready and be prepared to undergo necessary inspections.
These rules are considered essential for ensuring traffic safety and maintaining the continuity of processes without disruption. In this way, border crossing has not only become faster but also gained a much more refined organizational structure.
