Express buses operate between Nurafshon and Bektemir.

A special transport system will be introduced to launch a fast and convenient bus service between the city of Nurafshon and the Bektemir district of Tashkent. Zamin.uz reported this.

Detailed information on this is provided in a decision adopted by the Council of People's Deputies of Tashkent Region in March. As part of the plan, the road from Tashkent to Nurafshon will be renovated in accordance with modern standards, and express bus traffic will be organized on it.

The Road Committee has been designated as the main initiator for implementing this important project. To ensure rapid movement, special dedicated lanes will be constructed in the middle of the road.

At the same time, nine modern and enclosed bus stops will be built along the route. These stops will be equipped with climate control systems, ensuring comfort for passengers.

The average distance between stops is 2.9 kilometers, creating favorable conditions for rapid movement. The total cost of the project is estimated at approximately 120 million US dollars.

International financial institutions and state budget funds will be attracted as sources of financing. The Avtoyo'linvest Agency will perform the role of the client in implementing the project.

According to plans, this modern transport system is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2028. This project will make a significant contribution to improving transport services for the population, saving time, and developing intercity connections.

In the future, an increase in travel speed along this route and a growth in passenger numbers are expected.
