Preferential housing loan procedures for doctors established
The Ministry of Health has announced a new draft document establishing the procedure for granting special preferential housing loans to doctors and pharmaceutical workers with fifteen or more years of work experience in state medical institutions. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This initiative provides significant assistance in solving the housing problem for civil servants and aims to improve their social status. Earlier, according to the President's decree dated November 9, 2025, it was established that for specialists with such experience, half of the initial payment for purchasing housing would be covered by the State Targeted Fund for the Development of Medicine.

Now, the presented draft envisions regulating this process in a more systematic, transparent, and precise manner. According to the new rules, the subsidy is allocated annually in equal shares over four quarters.

The application submission process can be carried out online through State Services Centers or electronic systems. Only one application per person is accepted during each quarter, and this procedure is strictly defined.

When reviewing applications, a single and main criterion is applied. It is mandatory to officially confirm that the applicant is currently working in a state medical institution and has fifteen years of experience.

Previously, those who have used this benefit cannot participate again in the new selection. On the last working day of each quarter, application acceptance automatically ends at ten o'clock.

The subsidy recipient is determined by a random selection. This process is organized online at sixteen o'clock on the last working day of each quarter.

Using a special website, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health's working group, one hundred winners are randomly selected. For the winners of the selection, documents for purchasing housing on a mortgage basis are prepared and submitted through the software system within the next six months.

This program is a historic opportunity for medical sector employees to be provided with housing and serves to significantly increase their social value in society.
