The President of Tajikistan Arrived in Uzbekistan on an Official Visit

At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Emomali Rahmon arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit on March 26. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The high-ranking guest was personally welcomed by the head of state at Tashkent-Humo International Airport. This visit by the Tajik leader is regarded as an important political event in the relations between the two countries.
The official welcoming ceremony was organized at a high level. The flags of the two countries were raised high, honor guards lined up, and interstate respect was demonstrated.
Within the framework of the visit, today there will be extensive negotiations between the two heads of state. Additionally, the first meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council is also planned to be held.
This will serve to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The meetings will thoroughly discuss political cooperation, trade and economic relations, transport and communication sectors, cultural and humanitarian relations, as well as interregional cooperation issues.
