Rapid development observed in the Uzbekistan car market during the first two months
The Uzbekistan automotive market continued its rapid development in January and February 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to official data announced by the UzAvtosanoat company, a total of 57,512 new cars were sold across the country during these two months. This figure clearly indicates a growing demand for vehicles in the country and an expansion of the population's ability to purchase cars.

UzAuto Motors traditionally holds the leading position in the market. This major manufacturer delivered 29,943 vehicles to buyers, accounting for nearly half or 52.1% of the total volume.

In second place, Khorezm Auto sold 15,666 vehicles, holding a 27.2% share of the market. ADM Jizzakh and BYD Uzbekistan Factory ranked third and fourth, respectively.

Their shares accounted for 12.5% and 8% of the market, respectively. Asaka Motors still holds a small share, capturing only 0.1% by selling just 80 vehicles.

When analyzing by brand, Chevrolet has firmly maintained its leadership. With a total of 45,609 Chevrolet vehicles sold, it constitutes the largest portion of the market.

The Kia, BYD, Chery, and Haval brands are competing with each other for leading positions. The Hyundai brand currently holds the smallest share, recorded at 80 vehicles.

By model, the Cobalt is the most popular car, finding 15,305 buyers. The Damas vehicle ranks second with 11,254 units sold.

The Tracker, Onix, Labo, and Sonet models also generated significant interest among buyers and found tens of thousands of purchasers. Compared to the previous year, a total of 50,373 vehicles were sold during these same months in 2025.

Thus, within a year, the market volume increased by nearly 7,000 units, representing approximately 14% growth. This positive dynamic confirms the effectiveness of reforms in the automotive sector and the high level of competitiveness among local manufacturers.

In the future, it is expected that the leadership of UzAuto Motors and the Chevrolet brand will be maintained.
