Festivals of Nasriddin Afandi and Eastern Cuisine Will Be Held in Bukhara

The city of Bukhara will welcome its guests and residents with two major traditional celebrations on April 1. Zamin.uz reported this news.
According to the Tourism Committee, both the Nasreddin Afandi Festival and the Eastern Cuisine Festival will take place simultaneously in the city on this day. These events aim to revive our people's centuries-old traditions and introduce our culture to the world.
As part of the Nasreddin Afandi Festival, guests will witness numerous humorous scenes based on the short and witty tales of the famous Khoja Nasreddin. The event will feature satirical miniatures, jokes popular among the people, and comedic episodes drawn from everyday life.
Participants will recall ancient legends through these visual performances and experience a sense of joy accompanied by musical programs. The event will be held in the square in front of the Nadir Devanbegi Madrasah and around the Nasreddin Afandi monument.
The Eastern Cuisine Festival offers a grand culinary show designed for all food lovers. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the most delicious and traditional dishes of Uzbek national cuisine, as well as sweets characteristic of various regions of our country.
