Mirziyoyev and bin Salman discussed the tense situation in the region
A serious and important telephone conversation took place between the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Zamin.uz reported on this.

At the beginning of the conversation, the leaders of both countries once again sincerely congratulated each other on the recent Eid al-Fitr holiday, expressing their high friendly sentiments. These words of congratulations served to further strengthen the ancient and deep relations between the two peoples.

During the conversation, it was particularly emphasized that the tense situation and escalating conflicts observed in the Middle East region have caused serious concern to both sides. The heads of state noted that preventing the spread of such unpleasant events and fully eliminating them serves not only the interests of regional states but also contributes to ensuring global stability and peace.

The leader of Uzbekistan once again emphasized that in difficult times, our country stands united and in solidarity with the leadership and brotherly people of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, he pledged to continue fully supporting the Kingdom's prudent and wise foreign policy, which will further strengthen the environment of cooperation in the region.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed special gratitude to the Crown Prince for the practical assistance provided and the favorable conditions created for Uzbek pilgrims currently performing Umrah rites in Saudi Arabia. This attention further deepens the friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.

In turn, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud highly appreciated the sincere friendly attitude and support expressed by the President of Uzbekistan. It was agreed to intensify high-level communications and coordinated joint efforts aimed at taking bilateral and multilateral relations to a new stage.

This dialogue not only strengthened the diplomatic ties between the two countries but also made a significant contribution to regional stability and peace in the Middle East. The mutual cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia is of great importance for improving citizens' lives, security, and regional development.
