Artificial rain technology will be introduced in Tashkent

A new initiative aimed at cleaning and quantitatively improving the atmospheric air in Tashkent involves the planned implementation of artificial rain technology. Zamin.uz reported on this matter.
This important decision was specifically outlined in the decree signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 25 of this year regarding measures to implement the Clean Air National Project. Based on the requirements of the document, special modern equipment will be installed in areas with low humidity levels within the capital and Tashkent region.
As a result, artificial rain induction practices will be regularly established. This large-scale project is expected to be implemented in stages by October 1, 2027.
According to experts on the subject, this technology offers the opportunity to significantly reduce dust particles and various harmful substances in the air. This will contribute to improving air quality in a short period.
Furthermore, it will greatly assist in increasing humidity levels in the environment during drought and hot weather conditions. The decree assigns the implementation of the project to the Ecology Committee, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Higher Education.
Soon, they will need to study foreign countries and apply the most effective and successful solutions in practice. As noted, this initiative is expected to be an important step towards stabilizing the ecological situation in the capital and protecting public health.
In the future, it is also planned to widely apply this experience throughout the entire country.
