Artificial rain is planned in Tashkent
A clear plan is being developed to introduce the method of artificial rain in Tashkent city to improve air quality and solve the drought problem. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This important initiative is being implemented based on the decree signed by the head of our state in March. The decree outlines a number of measures within the framework of the national project Clean Air aimed at improving atmospheric air quality, with particular emphasis on the technology of artificial rainmaking.

According to the plan, special modern equipment will be installed in Tashkent city and the surrounding regional areas where drought has intensified. It is expected that the practice of artificial rainmaking will be established with the help of this equipment.

The complete completion deadline of the project is set for the first of October 2027. During this time, all necessary technical preparations will be carried out and the system will be fully launched.

The artificial rain technology mainly aims to reduce the amount of dust, smoke, and other harmful substances in the air. As a result, the atmospheric air quality is expected to improve significantly in a short period.

Additionally, by delivering the necessary moisture to nature during dry and hot seasons, attention will also be paid to preserving soil and plants. This will contribute to enriching the urban environment with more greenery.

The responsibility for implementing the initiative has been assigned to the Ecology Committee, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Higher Education. These organizations have been tasked with studying the latest and most effective experiences of foreign countries and adapting them to the conditions of Tashkent.

The goal is for our people to have better access to clean air and water resources in the near future. This project will not only address environmental problems but also improve the quality of life and well-being of the residents of Tashkent.

There is confidence that the urban environment will become more comfortable and healthy in the future.
