Presidents familiarized themselves with the processes of the artificial intelligence hackathon in Bukhara
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, closely familiarized themselves with the proceedings of a nationwide artificial intelligence hackathon organized at the universal sports complex in the city of Bukhara. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This large-scale event was held to develop the digital technology ecosystem in our country and support innovative projects. This initiative is considered an important step in shaping Uzbekistan's digital future.

The heads of state were provided with detailed information regarding the work being carried out to widely implement digitalization in our country. In particular, modern solutions used in the digital government system, transport, customs, tax, healthcare, social protection, energy, geology, construction, and agriculture sectors were demonstrated.

It was noted that the digitalization of these sectors not only increases the efficiency of state administration but also significantly improves the quality of services provided to the population. Additionally, prospects for cooperation aimed at developing the startup ecosystem between the two countries were discussed.

The Presidents familiarized themselves with a number of promising projects and communicated with their authors. During the event, issues regarding the expansion of venture financing infrastructure, the encouragement of youth entrepreneurship, and the practical implementation of innovative ideas were specifically highlighted.

Digital changes in the banking system, modern payment technologies, and the development of online services were also a focus of attention. Within the framework of the hackathon, the creative approaches of young people toward solving urgent problems in various fields and their desire to apply artificial intelligence technologies were highly praised.

At the conclusion of the meeting, which took place in a spirit of open communication, the leaders of the two countries took commemorative photos with the hackathon participants and representatives of startup teams. This event is of great importance in bringing technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to a new level.
