The process of admission to the first grade of schools begins in June

It has been officially announced that the admission process for the first grade of general secondary education schools for the 2026-2027 academic year will begin on June 20 of this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This process is an organic continuation of the digitalization policy in the education system and will be carried out online to create convenience for parents and ensure transparency. According to the admission rules, children born by December 31, 2019, are considered of school age and are eligible for admission to the first grade.
The process is organized in two main stages. The first stage lasts from June 20 to July 31, during which the micro-district principle applies.
This means that parents can first register their children at schools attached to their permanent place of residence. The second stage will take place from August 1 to August 31.
During this period, applications from citizens residing in other areas or those wishing to study at a school outside their micro-district will be considered. The application submission process is carried out entirely in electronic form.
Parents can apply at their convenience through the Single Interactive State Services Portal or the my.maktab.uz electronic platform. To use the system, it is sufficient to log into the personal cabinet and enter the relevant information.
These platforms allow not only for submitting applications but also for monitoring the progress and results of the admission process. We remind you that no additional exams or tests are conducted when admitting students to school.
The admission process is carried out in accordance with the established procedure and legislative documents. Parents are asked to be careful when submitting documents and to adhere to the specified deadlines.
For additional questions, you can contact regional public education departments or school administrations. Please make productive use of these opportunities created for your children to receive a quality education and complete the registration process on time.
