Financial assistance will be provided to children in need and children of military personnel

At a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, important initiatives aimed at providing material and spiritual support to socially vulnerable populations on the eve of the Eid al-Adha holiday were reviewed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within the framework of these benevolent measures, specific mechanisms for providing assistance to needy citizens in our country were established. In accordance with the designated measures, material assistance will be provided to more than eight thousand orphans and children deprived of parental care in Uzbekistan, as well as to the children of military personnel who sacrificed their lives for the peace and protection of the country's borders.
An amount of two hundred US dollars will be allocated to each child in this category, and these funds will be transferred to special savings accounts opened in their names. These efforts serve to ensure that the younger generation finds a worthy place in society in the future and lives feeling the care of the state.
In the field of healthcare, extensive work is also planned to restore the health of the population. In particular, measures will be taken to perform surgical operations of various complexities for ten thousand children and to treat thousands of patients suffering from oncological and hematological diseases.
Additionally, it is envisaged that the state will cover the costs of liver and kidney transplant operations for at least three hundred and fifty critically ill patients. These initiatives will not only bring joy to many families but also serve to improve the quality of medical services.
At the same time, a series of works will be carried out in the spiritual and educational sphere. The construction of modern ablution rooms and the renovation of existing ones in five hundred mosques across the country, as well as the landscaping of cemeteries, will be carried out.
Special attention will be paid to providing low-income families, elderly people living alone, and persons with disabilities with essential daily food products. All planned measures will be financed by funds in the amount of six hundred and ninety billion soums allocated by the Waqf Charitable Public Fund.
Such noble deeds serve to further strengthen the bonds of mutual solidarity, kindness, and compassion among our people.
