Heavy rain is expected in most parts of Uzbekistan on Friday

The Uzbekistan Hydrometeorological Service Agency provided the expected weather forecast for Friday, May 22, as reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the synoptic reports, unstable weather conditions are expected across most of the republic, with rainfall anticipated, and in some areas, heavy downpours and hail are possible. Additionally, conditions related to increasing wind speed may occur.
In Tashkent city, the weather will be changeable, with intermittent rainfall forecasted. In the capital, hail is also expected, and the wind from the west may strengthen up to 12 meters per second.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 17 to 19 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will be around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. This indicates the influx of a mild and humid air mass typical for the month of May.
In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Region, the weather is expected to remain relatively stable, with no precipitation anticipated. However, in these areas, dust storms may occur due to increasing wind speed.
In these regions, daytime air temperature is forecasted to rise up to 32 degrees Celsius. In Bukhara and Navoi Regions, the situation is somewhat different, with a risk of heavy rain and hail in some areas.
In the central regions, especially in Tashkent, Sirdaryo, Jizzakh, and Samarkand areas, humidity will be high. In these areas, not only rain but also strong winds are possible.
Daytime temperatures will remain around 22 to 27 degrees Celsius. In the southern regions and the Fergana Valley, precipitation is also expected.
Specifically, in the valley regions, the intensity of rainfall may increase. Special warnings have been issued for residents of mountainous and foothill areas, as well as for tourists visiting these locations.
There is a risk of flash floods due to heavy rainfall. Therefore, specialists are urging the public to take precautionary measures and observe safety rules during adverse weather conditions.
