The International Flowers Festival in Namangan has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records

In Namangan region, the internationally held flower festival, conducted annually, has attracted global attention due to its scale and beauty, officially earning a place in the Guinness World Records. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The regional administration’s information service provided official details about this significant achievement. This year’s festival events have become a source of pride not only for the region’s residents but for the entire country.
Extensive preparations were made to set this record. According to reports, over 100 million flower seedlings were planted in the region last year in preparation for the festival.
This year, the number increased significantly, reaching 150 million planted flowers. As a result of such large-scale greening and landscaping efforts, the city of Namangan has transformed into a true floral paradise.
As a result, Namangan region collectively set a new world record for the highest number of flowers planted within one month and was officially included in the Guinness World Records. During the festival’s solemn opening ceremony, a representative of the Guinness World Records organization, Sheyda Subasi, participated and formally presented a special certificate confirming the achievement to the regional governor.
This recognition is a high honor for the hard work and skill of Namangan’s flower growers. It is worth noting that the Namangan Flower Festival grows in scale and influence each year.
The festival is not only a display of beauty but also an important event aimed at enhancing the region’s tourism potential. This year, the festival is scheduled to run from May 24 to July 12.
During this period, local residents and foreign visitors will be able to enjoy diverse floral compositions and cultural performances.
