The service for transferring students from one school to another is temporarily suspended
In Uzbekistan, the provision of state services related to transferring students from one school to another has been temporarily suspended. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, this restriction will be implemented starting May 26, 2026, and will continue until July 31. During this period, parents will not be able to submit electronic applications to transfer their children from one educational institution to another.
The main reason for this temporary restriction is to ensure proper preparation of general secondary education institutions for the upcoming academic year and to form the student composition. Specialists explain that during the summer break, all schools carry out the process of promoting students to higher grades, distributing classrooms, and determining teaching loads.
Therefore, to ensure accuracy in the system, the school transfer process is being temporarily paused. During the specified period, applications will not be accepted through the electronic platform erp.maktab.uz, which is the specialized information system for managing school education.
The platform will undergo necessary technical adjustments and database updates for the upcoming academic year. This will help ensure the system operates smoothly and without errors in the future.
Parents and guardians are advised to plan their actions accordingly, taking this technical pause into account. According to official information, the service for transferring students from one school to another will resume full operation starting August 1, 2026.
From this date onward, citizens will be able to submit their applications online in the prescribed manner and change their children’s place of study. This procedure in the provision of state services is being implemented to ensure the organized management of the educational process and the correct distribution of available places in schools.
