The Tashkent city administration and a large Chinese construction corporation have begun working on a new project aimed at fundamentally improving the capital's infrastructure. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

During a meeting between the parties, issues regarding the construction of modern toll roads in Tashkent were discussed in detail. This initiative is expected to be one of the important steps toward regulating the transport system in the capital and increasing the convenience of movement for the population.

According to the plan, a ring road with a total length of nearly one hundred kilometers will be built as part of the project. Additionally, the construction of a high-speed highway passing through the city center and heading toward the new international airport is envisioned.

These roads will operate on a toll basis, providing drivers with the opportunity to reach their destinations in a short time and without traffic jams. This system, widely used in international practice, will serve to significantly reduce the load on city streets.

The project aims to rationally distribute transport flows in the capital, improve the ecological situation, and raise the road infrastructure to world standards. These highways, to be built based on modern engineering solutions, will also play an important role in increasing Tashkent's economic potential.

At the current stage, specialists are studying the route maps and technical capabilities. It should be noted that official information regarding the exact start date of construction and the total cost of the project has not yet been disclosed.

Further explanations regarding the project details and the conditions for using the roads are expected in the future. This cooperation is a practical result of consistent reforms in developing the capital and attracting foreign investments.
