The deadline for making contract payments in higher education institutions has been extended

The deadline for transferring basic and tiered tuition contract payments in higher education institutions in Uzbekistan has been officially extended. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, this decision was made taking into account appeals and suggestions received from many applicants, students, and university administrations. This change creates an additional opportunity for students to fulfill their obligations and successfully continue their studies.
According to the new regulation, certain categories of applicants and students must fully pay the designated contract funds by June 10 of this year. Those who make the payment within this period will be admitted as students or have their studies formalized.
This privilege primarily applies to undergraduate and postgraduate students who have regularly attended classes and successfully passed their final exams. At the same time, this deadline also applies to students who have transferred from one higher education institution to another or have restored their previously suspended studies.
This, in turn, creates favorable conditions for young people who have changed their place of study for various reasons to resolve financial issues and organize their documents. This initiative by the Ministry serves to ensure the continuity of the educational process.
The issue of extending the contract payment deadline for students in the second and higher years is considered in a slightly different manner. In such cases, the authority to make the decision is given directly to the head of the higher education institution.
That is, based on each student's social status, academic performance, and the internal capabilities of the institution, rectors will make the final conclusion regarding the extension of the payment deadline. In conclusion, the extension of the payment deadline until June 10 has provided significant relief for thousands of young people and their families.
This decision ensures that students can focus on deepening their knowledge and are not excluded from their studies due to financial difficulties. Now, students and applicants are required to make payments without delay by the specified deadline, as delays beyond the set time may cause difficulties in continuing their studies in the future.
