A system for tracking and confirming international courier shipments has been launched

A new system has been launched in Uzbekistan that allows for the monitoring and personal verification of international courier shipments arriving in the name of citizens. Zamin.uz reported this.
From now on, every citizen will be able to track all parcels registered in their name in real-time and confirm their authenticity via the Single Interactive State Services Portal. This innovation allows the population to ensure the security of their data and monitor customs processes transparently.
According to the new procedure, when an international shipment arrives from abroad in a citizen's name, a special notification will be sent to their personal account. If the user has indeed ordered the product, they will confirm the shipment through the system.
However, if an error is found in the data or if the citizen has not placed such an order, there is an option to reject the shipment. Through this mechanism, citizens are released from liability for shipments that do not belong to them.
Using this service, detailed information about each shipment, including the weight, value, and contents of the cargo, can be carefully checked. The introduction of separate confirmation or rejection buttons for each parcel speeds up the decision-making process.
Most importantly, this system serves to prevent the illegal use of citizens' passport data by third parties. The new digital capability is expected to significantly speed up the customs clearance process.
Additionally, various misunderstandings that may arise during the receipt of goods will be reduced, and citizens will be reliably protected from foreign shipments. Those who wish to use this service can enter the customs section of the portal and manage all information pertaining to them.
Such reforms are an important step toward further improving the e-government system in our country and creating convenience for the population.
