Large contracts signed with China for the development of Tashkent
Very joyful news has been announced for all our compatriots who are concerned about the population and the development of the capital, Tashkent. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Strategic cooperation relations between Uzbekistan and the People's Republic of China have risen to a new, historical stage. According to the results of the third Uzbekistan-China Interregional Forum held at a high level in the ancient Chinese city of Xi'an, huge investment and export agreements with a total value of over three and a half billion dollars were signed to give our capital, Tashkent, a completely modern appearance.

The details of these large-scale projects and expected historical changes, provided by the press service of the Tashkent city administration, will serve to fundamentally improve the capital's infrastructure. The flooding problems observed in our capital during heavy rainfall will become a thing of the past in the near future.

One of the most important initiatives within the framework of the forum was directed precisely at this sector. Four hundred million dollars will be allocated to develop the city's drainage collectors, irrigation networks, and special rainwater runoff systems based on modern standards.

As a result of the fundamental renewal of this system, inconveniences associated with water accumulation on the streets will be eliminated. At the conclusion of this prestigious economic summit, a number of large agreements were also formalized for the modernization of Tashkent city's road and transport system as well as its housing stock.

One billion dollars is expected to be allocated for special lanes for rapid buses, modern pedestrian crossings, and the fundamental improvement of the general road infrastructure. Additionally, another one billion dollars will be spent on developing the capital's overall transport system and constructing social facilities necessary for the population.

Cozy and modern residential complexes with all amenities will rise in place of old areas included in the renovation program. For this, an investment of five hundred million dollars will be made.

One hundred million dollars will be allocated to organize new and modern entertainment streets in Tashkent that operate day and night, becoming a favorite destination for tourists and local residents. To elevate the city's economy, important investment deals worth one hundred and thirty million dollars were signed to establish the most advanced and high-tech production capacities in the New Generation special industrial zone of our capital.

This will serve to sharply increase the export of local products and create new jobs. The most notable and significant aspect is that all these multi-billion dollar projects will be implemented based on the globally popular Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Financing (EPC+F) model.

This means that the necessary funds for the projects will be attracted by foreign partners and will not place a direct burden on the state budget. Such an approach will allow our capital to become one of the most developed megapolises in a short period of time.
