Illegal waste disposal cases are increasing
Since the beginning of 2025, cases of illegal waste disposal have significantly increased across the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

These cases not only harm the environment but also intensify concerns among the public. As a result of monitoring and control activities conducted by state agencies, many violations are being identified.

According to the Ministry of Ecology, a total of 5,215 cases of illegal waste disposal were recorded in the country in the first half of 2025. Online surveillance cameras played a crucial role in identifying these cases.

Appropriate measures have been taken for each violation, and a total of 14,728 administrative protocols have been formalized. The total amount of fines imposed for violations exceeded 7.9 billion soums.

Of this, 3.3 billion soums have been collected by the state, while efforts to collect the remaining amount are ongoing. This figure not only confirms the prevalence of cases but also indicates the strengthening of control.

By region, the most violations were recorded in Namangan region — 1,563 cases, Andijan region 1,443 cases, and Fergana region 1,163 cases. Due to the high population density and industrial activity in these regions, the waste problem is even more urgent.

The Ministry of Ecology calls on all citizens to dispose of waste legally in specially designated places. Improper waste disposal damages soil and water sources, leading to the proliferation of harmful microorganisms and pests.

Responsible organizations plan to strengthen public monitoring and preventive measures to address the waste problem. Additionally, liability for violations of waste disposal rules will be further increased.

Ecologists are conducting regular raids in the regions, not only imposing fines but also carrying out explanatory work among the population. It is important for citizens to be responsible as well.

If you witness violations, it is necessary to immediately report them to the relevant authorities. Every report is an important step in protecting nature.

Preserving the environment is each of our civic duties. The fight for clean air, a healthy environment, and pure nature is a common task for the entire society.

Such problems can be solved through discipline and ecological awareness. Today, the waste problem has become a pressing issue in all regions.

Officials are constantly informing citizens and trying to improve the situation. In this process, the role of mass media and social networks is significant.

No violation should go unpunished. Therefore, compliance with the law and valuing the environment is the guarantee of a better tomorrow.
