The delegation visited the Innovation Center of UNIBIO and the production facilities of Viking Genetics, getting acquainted with their activities. An agreement was reached with the UNIBIO management on a new project for the production of bioprotein feed additives in Uzbekistan.
The head of veterinary at Viking Genetics supported the proposal to implement joint projects in the field of breeding experience exchange, establishing a selection center, and enhancing the qualifications of livestock farmers. It was also agreed to organize short-term training and practical sessions for students of the Samarkand University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock, and Biotechnology at the Viking Genetics laboratories.
The parties agreed that as a result of this cooperation, they would move to a new stage in introducing modern innovations in Uzbekistan and training specialists in the field based on international standards. This will significantly contribute to the development of the country's livestock and veterinary sectors.
