A tax obligation has been imposed on self-employed individuals

In Uzbekistan, a tax obligation has been introduced for companies collaborating with self-employed individuals when their annual revenue exceeds 100 million soums. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This information was provided based on a decision made by the Tax Committee. Yandex Uzbekistan announced that it has successfully completed technical integration with the tax system.

From now on, starting from July 2, taxes will be automatically withheld from the income of partner drivers and couriers in the Yandex Go service. Information about individuals subject to tax withholding obligations will be obtained directly from the tax authorities.

All amounts withheld will be displayed in the Yandex Pro application, and detailed information will be provided by the relevant authorities to taxpayers. This new system simplifies the tax process for self-employed individuals and helps reduce the risk of errors in calculations.
