At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in the capital, the head of state was welcomed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yaqub Ayubov and other official figures. The flags of both countries were raised in honor of the high-ranking guest, and an honor guard was lined up.
Today, according to the program, the second meeting of the High Intergovernmental Council and other important events are planned to be held. This visit is expected to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Additionally, issues related to the development of cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields will be discussed. President Mirziyoyev's visit to Azerbaijan is expected to take the relations between the countries to a new level.
