President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to establish video surveillance regarding situations causing inconvenience to the public on roads, particularly the improper parking of officials, during a meeting dedicated to road safety issues. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He criticized the service vehicles blocking the roads in front of state agency buildings, as well as the parking of officials' cars in two or three rows, obstructing traffic. A survey conducted under the President's instruction revealed a lack of legal parking spaces in Tashkent and other major cities.
As a result, drivers are forced to stop on the roadside. Mirziyoyev emphasized the absence of a communication platform that listens to and addresses the problems of ordinary drivers.
He also ordered the removal of unjustifiably installed prohibitory signs in all organizations and neighborhoods. According to the government decision, it was established that service vehicles of ministries and agencies should not have priority on the roads.
These measures are aimed at enhancing road traffic safety and ensuring the convenience of citizens
