Subsidies and benefits for buses and minibuses have been extended

In Uzbekistan, intercity and interregional buses and minibuses receive subsidies for each passenger. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This issue was discussed at a video selector meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting also determined that the benefits introduced for buses regarding the utilization fee will be extended for another three years.

Now these benefits will also apply to minibuses. In addition, customs duty benefits for public transport will also be valid for three years.

Previously, this opportunity was only granted to tourist buses and minibuses. To benefit from the privileges, entrepreneurs must comply with two important requirements.

First, they must strictly adhere to the schedule. Second, it is necessary to transparently show revenues through the electronic payment system.

These measures aim to develop the transport sector and create convenience for passengers. Additionally, the subsidy system also serves to improve service quality.
